In recent years, there has been a lot of attention and column inches dedicated to the health and fitness of children. Although much of the criticism was about what they eat the young, there was a lot of concern about the amount of exercise they do in the modern world.
Why not get much exercise more?
There are a number of reasons why children are exercising less and less. One reason is the growing popularity of technology such as computers, televisions and game consoles. With so many choices for entertainment - if channels, video games and the Internet in general - is nothing more than the children are inside than out at this time. It's not just at home, either. At school, Internet computer labs attract many children in your lunch break, which means they take one hour of exercise during the week.

1) Walking to school - they are still young, find time to walk to school instead of driving around the corner. If they are a little older, why not let them walk to school with a group of friends. They will be safe and walking is a simple form of exercise.
2) Turn off the TV - if a parent comes home and turns the TV immediately, it is likely that children begin to reproduce this behavior. Obviously, it can be very stressful when you enter, but changing one or two bad habits, you can encourage your children to do the same.
3) To see sport - not to exercise, watch a live sporting event, they may file a new interest in themselves play. If so, be sure to encourage without being pushy. Otherwise, not push. Maybe you have the wrong sport.
4) Out of the box - if traditional sports such as football is not for them, so why not see if you fancy something a little different - like judo or karate - and offer to take them a lesson.
